Angel V. Del Rosario III
Cap Collector/ Artist

Before MacFarlane there was SLU (Starting Line Ups), I own at least a thousand of these figures, I believe 1999 was the last time they made these figures, I know I have the complete 1997 and 1998 sets for baseball. I don't know if they are worth anything, but I do own some pretty good ones like Kobe Rookie piece, Iverson's, I have Jeter's, Shaq, Michael Jordan.

I literally own thousands of die cast cars, as a kid one of my favorite toys are matchboxes, my mom will buy me one a week almost when I was very young, Cars and Boys that's like very normal :)

The Best Figure of Voltes V in my Opinion. Fully Functional and exact replica of the Anime, 5 machines actually volts in to form the robot like the real thing.

1970's Japanese Robot Anime.
Many of you now probably heard of Pokemon? like kids all over the world are crazy about them, they collect the stuffs from it because of the TV Show, anyways back in the late 1970's to early 1980 kids from Asia, Europe and the America's (South & Central) were captivated by these Anime Robot Cartoons they aired on TV, I remember everyday of the week it was a different one from Mondays to Friday, Kids have their own favorites though it all came down to 2, Mazinger Z and Voltes V, Mazinger Z was aired every Wednesday at 6pm and Voltes V every Friday at 6pm, You will never see a single kid playing outside everyday at 6pm, we are all glued to the TV screens and excited to see the new adventures of our favorite hero robots, the next day it's the topic at school, I personally will play out the episode with my friends, I remember we will put chairs in front of the steps or stairs and we will run to it and sit and make the chairs fall down agains the steps pretending we are the 5 guys of Voltes V, I'm a Mazinger Z fan, I dunno why, maybe because most of the kids were Voltes V fans and I always like being the underdog I guess, before the show reahed their final episodes, then President Marcos banned Voltes V and other Anime Cartoons on TV, I remember they aired the final episode in the movie theaters so we can see the ending, those were the days and the innocense of every young kid growing up.
Everyone wanted the Toys but they weren't cheap so a handful has one, I have a Daimos fully functional that my Father bought before he disappeared in our lives, and I always wanted to own the other ones like Voltes V which hands down was the coolest and the best of all the Anime Robots... have u seen the movie Jerry Mcguire? the famous line "You Complete me"? well these Robots when I finally acquired them is when I said "I'm Complete" the last part of my childhood memories, these brought me back to memory lane and they are very special, though tI have been criticized more for owning these than the 2,000 caps I owned.
Action Figures.
Another one that boys goes crazy for are Action Figures, I remember owning G.I. Joes, but what I wanted are those paratroppers, the ones that actually comes with parachutes and I will go on top of our roof and I will tosee them up in the air and watch them go down slowly from 30 feet up in the air,Toy Soldiers were my favorite, I love watching War Shows when I was a kid like Combat with Vic Morrow and Rick Jason, everyday at school we will play War Games and I Am the Platoon Leader and we will always win because I will draw strategies you will never believe lol, an 8 year old doing War Strategies and shocking all the other kids because we will always beat them, One amazing thing about our school was it is huge, lots of trees and open spaces, it's bigger than some Universities and its because it was used as a Japanes Garrison during World War II, some of the buildings still exists and was converted so it can be used like one of the boys Bathroom in particular were no one wants to go use when you are alone, it's scary in there, looks like it was an old prison cell or a place where they hanged people, the windows are so small and they were so high up close to the ceilling that looks like it was there so it can provide some lighting inside the room, I remember Boy Scouts that will camp overnight in the school grounds have stories of seeing Japanese Soldiers patroling, now that's scary lol, but this is true story, after school our teachers will ask us to clear out the weeds or do gardening so will dig up so we can make our plots and I dug up a Japanes Helmet when I was a kid and I found crates of Japanese Money they used during the war, I had like Millions almost that has no value but could be worth some now, those are the things I should've kept. Like my Anime Robots that I always wanted growing up and years later I finally got them, everytime I look at them the same feeling I had or part of comes back, I don't know if anyone experienced it but its awesome like how certain songs reminds you of something and feelings, same with smell, but for me every single Item I owned when I touch it or just look at it even if I can't remember the exact date I got them but I can pretty much tell you the feeling when I first got them, each one is special and it's an awesome feeling, as people probably know by now... I Am Sentimental.
Die-Cast Cars Collection.
I can't imagine any young boy growing up and doesn't like cars, I grew up loving Matchboxes, back then the cars actually comes in a box, My Mom knows how crazy I Am over these tiny little cars, she will save money so she can buy me 1 every week everytime I go with her in the market, it's pretty expensive back then I think, I remember one of my distant relative who also was a neighbor he has this awesome display of matchbox cars, I can't even touch it because it's inside a bult in case on the wall, like the put a hole on the wall to make this display area and enclosed with glass, it was so awesome and I always wanted to have tons of matchboxes, Fire Trucks and Tanks and Ambulances was my Favorites, I always been fascinated with Fire Trucks, but my Dad loves Construction vehicles so those are the ones he will buy me, He bought me a Tonka Cement Mixer, the biggest truck I have ever seen, it's fully functional as the mixer turns and if you put like sand inside it actually poars it out and it's so big I can even ride it, one of my cousins have it in the Philippines and it's still alive, my Dad bought it for 600 he said 30+ years ago, back to Fire Trucks, back then I wanted to be a Fireman or a Pilot, there is one more toy I would like to acquire that I was so obsessed about when I was a kid, A Passenger Airplane, a Boeng 747 that u actually see the interior and with actual passengers sitting, it was so cool.
